Last week AIMICI had the pleasure of being silver sponsors for this year’s sold-out AI Creative Summit event.
Introducing AIMICI Platform
Ahsan Mallick, AIMICI’s Founder & Executive Director, took to the stage to introduce AIMICI’s new offering – AIMICI Platform. He highlighted the immense complexity and scale of the landscape of both AI tools and businesses, and how the looming AI bubble burst will have an impact on both tool providers and tool users directly.
He emphasised that the two greatest needs in the industry currently center around:
- Adequate training for workers, covering what can actually be achieved with AI and vital compliance considerations
- The need for greater transparency – not only around tools and their origins but also the scale of use of those tools within productions
These needs will be serviced by AIMICI in the coming year, through a mixture of bespoke consultancy and scaled support, delivered via AIMICI Platform. The waitlist for the platform is now live and accepting applicants.

Ethics and AI Panel
Earlier in the day, Kathryn Webb, AIMICI’s MD, spoke as part of the Ethics and AI: Creativity, Production and Responsibility panel, alongside:
- Charperson Conor Dignam, Group Managing Director – Media Business Insight
- Posy Brewer, Voiceover Artist – SideKick Productions Ltd
- Will Hanrahan, Editor in Chief – FirstLookTV
- Liam Budd, Industrial Official for Recorded Media – Equity UK
- Robin Cramp, Head of Advanced Media Production Studios – Digital Catapult
Kathryn highlighted the disparity between how management and senior levels approach AI adoption, compared to the reality on the ground. Many workers are both confused and concerned about the way AI impacts their day-to-day work and livelihood.
Overall it was a fantastic day bringing together AI enthusiasts, production professionals and leaders passionate about responsible AI adoption in industry.
